Back to the blog!

I decided to create a new blog, hopefully to host a few photos as a portfolio of sorts. I'm using a very cool looking template called Photoplus, and the directions for how to post the thumbnails are here.
In a nutshell:

How to post on Photoplus

Your posts on photoplus should be only an image tag. This means that the title will not be shown on the main page, it has only SEO purposes. Same thing with Labels, It will serve you only to organize the main menu.

Here's the post model:

*do not include spaces* < alt="A description of the image goes here." longdesc="LINK_TO_THE_FULLSIZE_IMAGE" src="LINK_TO_THE_THUMBNAIL">

Note: The thumbnail size should be 187x128 pixels.

Ah BUGGER

Sooooo, I thought it would be fun to update the look of this blog. So I searched high and low for interesting templates. Found some I liked, uploaded them, and promptly lost ALL OF MY LINKS. BUGG-ERRRR! I'm rather annoyed with myself, as that was the main point of this stupid blog - a place to maintain links for all the cool sites I found.

Ugh, back to the drawing board...

Blingity-Bling Lighting

Cheesy, yes, I know. And yet...

No real word from the vinyl guy. I sent him a detailed email (twice) about what I wanted. He sent me a pm saying "what kind of decals do you have in mind?" O_o Really??

Anyway, if anybody ever reads this, tell me what you think about the blingy lights. Yea or Nay.

Graphics for the new bike

Although I've never wanted to do anything blingy with the SV650, somehow the CBR screams "pimp me out!" I also have some personal tributes I'd like to display, and this bike is the perfect venue, for several reasons. I think I've ruled out expen$ive paint jobs, because I'm still cheap, so I've been looking into having custom vinyl graphics made by this guy.

Here's an example of what he's done. What I like about it is the subtleness of the black on black. I don't want it to look like race sponsor decals, so I'm trying to figure out if what I want is even feasible, or just a lame idea.
